At Superbooth 16, Rossum Electro-Music’s Dave Rossum gave an overview of two new Eurorack modules, the Control Forge and the Morpheus:
- The CONTROL FORGE’s core functionality is drawn from the E-mu Morpheus’s powerful Function Generators. The new module is expanded into a flexible modulation source, encompassing elaborate one-shot contours, evolving cyclical patterns and sequences of arbitrary length and complexity.
- The MORPHEUS digital filter module is designed to ‘unleash’ the power of the 14-pole Z-Plane Filters that Rossum invented for the E-mu Morpheus synthesizer. The MORPHEUS Eurorack module includes over 190 filter configurations. Each configuration is composed of up to 8 complex filters that you can picture as being at the corners of a three dimensional cube. Morpheus gives you the ability to smoothly interpolate between those 8 filters within the cube’s three dimensional space.
Details on the new modules are available at the Rossum Electro-Music site.
