Sunday Synth Jam: This video, captures a performance of Ennio Elettronico, by Paolo Di Nicolantonio (SynthMania).
Nicolantonio notes that the track is “Inspired by one of the most wonderful Italian composers of all time, one of my great influences since childhood.”
I admire live modular performances. I’ve seen some mind blowing stuff since the late 70’s, but if you are going to showcase your $20,000 setup, then make it a bit more inspiring than the stuff I ditch in Logic with a few presets when I’m really not in the mood to be creative.
I, on the other hand, enjoyed it.
Apparently not familiar with Morricone’s work.
This is a pretty good tribute.
Nice. Love the drone.
i thought that was lovely, i’m a big fan of Ennio Morricone myself.
fine work!
That was lovely, thanks for sharing!
Awesome. From time to time it reminds me of Zelda tunes as well.
The drone! 🙂
Sometimes it’s the simple things that 20 ooo dollar equipment does so well! Big big fan of Ennio here thank you !
I especially liked the harmonica, very haunting and this reminded me so much of my childhood as my father was a big Morricone fan and we often had his music playing in the house.
