Sunday Synth Jam: This video, via Rafa Saez, is for a cover of Jean Michel Jarre’s Oxygene 8.
The track comes from Jarre’s 1997 Oxygène 7-13, a continuation of his seminal Oxygène album.
Here’s what Saez has to say about the technical details:’
I used space echo Roland re-201 (delays) , artsacoustic_bigrock (phasers) , Big Sky (reberbs) , Korg PS3200 (main sound) , Moog source (Monophonic sequences) , Roland JD-800 (all strings and pads) , Oberheim Matrix 6 and Waldorf Microwave (double bassline) .
Excellent work.
Works for Monday’s too – Loved this\ thanks
Great! Thank you. 🙂
Very good.
EXCELLENT !!!!
He has some great equipment and plays it really well. We both live in Madrid and have mutual synth friends. He says my music is Minimalist and he wants me to do a JMJ cover too… Let’s see, perhaps one day. However I’m thinking about doing a new composition at the moment – maybe more M Oldfield style. Let’s see.. All the best Rafa. Me gusta mucho tu música…. Un abrazo…
