These samples and demos sound very good, They seem to fit in a mix well. Price is not bad also.
I’ll wait for the analog version…

I have an analog model at home that came out just last year but I need to work on it because the sounds aren’t very good yet.
The analog model allows you to tweak the knobs in real time to produce a wide range of pitches and tones, but you have to buy it dinner first.
oh, cool, I was looking for that last square on my internet bingo card.
Oh, I get it, Jim. Women are only sexual objects. Misogyny is comedy gold!
To be fair to Jim, the catchphrase “…Puts a Choir of 20 Women in your DAW” already speaks of women as objects to be owned and controlled and manipulated. He’s just bringing out the latent sexism of the post title and giving it a humorous sheen.
I think Ian and Adam need to have a bit of a pause and a lie-down… It’s OK fellas… Jim E’s comment is pretty funny … no, really!! It is!!
Flip the product and swap out the 20 women for 20 men … would you get upset if the ad said “it puts muscle/grunt into your DAW”?
I think it’s time to remember how to have a bit of a giggle … anyway, the chick on the ad looks pretty nice to me … maybe you’d prefer her to be a plain Jane who wears denim overalls (or a unisex Mao suit) … or maybe even your mum?
That was a great reply! Quite funny.
Be careful if you buy this software! Just remember you are putting 20 women at your finger tips and might rot in hell for doing that.
Worst of all, is making jokes on clichés. If you dare do that, you are breaking the laws of politically correctness!
it’s not political correctness, it is respect.
Yep, because “it puts muscle/grunt into your DAW” is definitely equivalent to nipple tweaking.
Guys, guys, it’s totally cool, Henry approves!
Nipple Tweaking? … seriously avclub???
You’re saying ‘puts 20 women in your DAW’ is sexist and ‘putting 20 men in your DAW’ isn’t?
And where did you find either the reference to or intimation of ‘nipple tweaking’ in the Freya ad? Me and the others would really like to know.
It’s a plugin – it sounds like women – 20 of them … get off your high horse and go make some music …
So you didn’t understand the joke Jim Eshleman was making at all then, but it is “pretty funny”?
billfusion’s post below must have you in stitches too, right?
re: billfusion comment – not funny at all
re: Jim E comment – very funny and very droll
anything else?
It’s not logical to compare *actual* sexism with hypothetical ‘sexism.’ There is sexism contained in the comments to this post, and a fair amount of sexism apparent in the marketing of this product. That is the reality.
yes but it says put 20 women in your DAW not 20 vaginas.
Reading these tedious comments while listening to the ultra-epic demo music is somehow hilarious.
DAW is the new kitchen.
seriously, just when you think that people aren’t so bad – you read some of the comments in here and realize that either
A. there are a lot of 14 year old and sexist grandpas that read this or
B. people need to have some damned respect for other people regardless of what’s between their legs, the women who are sampled in this are using a craft that they have spent a lot of time and effort on and didn’t record for idiots to take it as an invitation for sexual inferences.
Whormongr wishes you would respect the whores and stop mongering.
