Arturia has released the latest in their series of demos for their new MatrixBrute synthesizer.
In addition to being a powerful standalone instrument, the Arturia MatrixBrute can also warp, contort and control your other studio gear.
The Arturia MatrixBrute is an monophonic synthesizer that offers an all-analog signal path, analog effects, deep matrix modulation patching, sequencing, an arpeggiator and more.
Pricing and Availability
The Arturia MatrixBrute is available for pre-order with a street price of about US $2,000. See the Arturia site for more info.
These demos keep getting better, finally making a good case for the machine’s power, sound, and value. It is a shame that the initial demo videos were so poor.
This is quite possibly my next guitar pedal…
That’s what I was thinking through this whole thing.
Episode 6?
Is this thing for sale yet?
What about their audio-interface?
Kudos to Arturia for making a nice set of videos that really let you see what the synth can do. I’m not sure I can fit it into my space or my budget but it sure has peaked my interest. My biggest concern would be build quality and support after the sale. Arturia doesn’t exactly have the best rep in this regard.
Shame, that you have to buy Arturia Beatstep Pro to have another sequencer track.
I would have bought MB, if it had 4 tracks.
I don’t think I see the point of getting the market’s attention with these videos when the product isn’t actually for sale. Too, at this point, roughly 8 months after the MatrixBrute was first announced, I see this video and reflexively think 1) the synth is not actually a finished product and 2) the people making the synth maybe don’t have the best ability to finish it.
The above written, I’m not saying these 2 thoughts are true; I’m just pointing out my own emotional knee-jerk reaction. While the product may be great and getting better all the time, my likelihood of taking it seriously declines due to the hype without delivery.
