This video, via MIDI-VERSE TV, takes a look at Moog Music’s Model 15 software synthesizer for iPad.
The video is a user review of Model 15, with an emphasis on introducing the app and demoing some of its sounds.
The Model 15 iOS app is designed to recreate each module of the original hardware Model 15 synthesizer, including the Moog 921–series oscillators, 904A Low Pass Filter and the 907 Fixed Filter Bank. In addition, the Model 15 app extends the original’s design in musically interesting ways – adding support for polyphony and even Multidimensional Polyphonic Expression (MPE) – a new standard for expressive synthesis control.
And Bluetooth LE support means that you can connect advanced keyboard controllers, like the ROLI Rise, for wireless MPE control.
Pricing and Availability
The Moog Model 15 Synthesizer app is available now for US $29.99 in the App Store.
Man this thing sounds good. Between this and the Korg stuff, it makes me wanna get a new iPad.
I bought an iPad Pro 9.7″ on black Friday for the same exact reasons.
This an Linnstrument are going to be a lot of fun to fiddle around with.
There is a silly amount of good stuff out there, I upgraded to a 9.7 Pro too recently.

Model 15 is so worth the investment.
On a completely random note I’ve just discovered the Amplifind app can stream Spotify and YouTube into Audiobus, no more tedious file copying, excellent.
Why is the iPad Pro only 9.7″ ?
Most standard Android tablets are 10″ + !
probably the same thing about something being 12 inches?
got mine at black friday sale.
by the ways i believe there is a set of free presets on this site
