AudioThing has introduced FilterJam, a free multi-band resonant filter audio effect for Mac & Windows.
Filterjam is a multi-band resonant filter, designed to deliver weird ringmod-like filtered sounds. The input signal is divided into 4 bands that are then summed or multiplied together according to the selected mode.
Filterjam can be very harsh or gentle, it can add brightness or depth to synth sounds, but it can also completely mangle acoustic sources.

FilterJam is a free download from the AudioThing site (valid email required).
nice price
sorry just had to say it
should be cheaper
It’s not clear what the frequencies of the 4 bands are, and what those 4 modes do. Is there any user control over the separation of bands, or individual frequencies? Of course, it sounds good and might be useful, but I have a few EQ’s that will do similar but where I won’t have to worry about clipping. None of them have a giant knob. I’ll pass.
Well, I have a giant knob and I am enjoying this filter.
