AudioThing has introduced Outer Verb, a spring reverb plugin emulation, based on the reverb tank of a 70’s tape echo.

Outer Verb uses a combination of convolution and modelling to recreate the original’s tone. The input stage can be pushed to introduce a warm saturation before the reverb effect. The EQ section, which affects only the reverb wet signal, is also modeled on the original unit.
