A new Suzanne Ciani documentary, A Life in Waves, will have its world premiere this spring at the 2017 SXSW Film Festival.

The film will be screened in the 24 Beats Per Second series, a showcase of “the sounds, culture and influence of music & musicians, with an emphasis on documentary.”

The documentary, directed by Brett Whitcomb and written by Bradford Thomason, explores Ciani’s life and work.
