Erica Synths has introduced the Erica Black Octasource, described as an ‘LFO carried to its extremes’.
It features one of 8 waveforms available on 8 outputs, phase shifted by 45 degrees OR all 8 waveforms simultaneously on all outputs. Waveform selection, phase shift and LFO rate can be CV-controlled, and the rate can be synched to an external clock signal.
Features:
- LFO with manually and CV controlled rate
- Manual selection of phase shift direction
- 8 simultaneous outputs
- Synchronization to an external clock
- LFO freeze function
- 8 waves with morphing between them
- Phase shift, wave select and FM CV
- Bipolar output signal level LEDs
Pricing and Availability:
The Erica Black Octasource is available now for 280 Euros.
What a fabulous noise! Fruity and vocal.
I think I’d rather go with a Batumi if I needed an “extreme LFO”. 4 outputs rather than 8, but the LFOs can be set independently in either phase or frequency and there’s all kinds of self-patching awesomeness available.
Sounds like a module useful for making Infected Mushroom style Vox effects ????
Great LFO!
Very cool. Love it!
