This video, via Synthesizer Reviews, compares three 5U Synthesizers.com form factor voltage-controlled oscillators:
- The Synthesizers.com q106 VCO;
- The Corsynth c104 Odyssey of Sound VCO; and
- The Analog Craftsman acVCO.
The point of the oscillator comparison is to point out the feature differences as well as sonic differences between these three readily-available modules in the 5U Synthesizers.com style modular format. They all share a synthesizers.com power header and each all 2 units wide.
If you’ve got experience with these or other 5U VCO’s, let us know what you think of them in the comment!
I have the Dotcom and Corsynth oscillators, love them both.
I really love the 901 oscillators from Mos-Lab. Have them on my System 1P. Great for that original Moog sound. Huge sounding and charming to say the least.
I would love to get my hands o the 901 oscillators from Mos-Lab.
All three of these modular synths are great, sure they have their differences but they are all great for the certain user needs!
