Three 5U Modular Synth VCOs Compared

This video, via Synthesizer Reviews, compares three 5U Synthesizers.com form factor voltage-controlled oscillators:

  • The Synthesizers.com q106 VCO;
  • The Corsynth c104 Odyssey of Sound VCO; and
  • The Analog Craftsman acVCO.

The point of the oscillator comparison is to point out the feature differences as well as sonic differences between these three readily-available modules in the 5U Synthesizers.com style modular format. They all share a synthesizers.com power header and each all 2 units wide.

  1. I really love the 901 oscillators from Mos-Lab. Have them on my System 1P. Great for that original Moog sound. Huge sounding and charming to say the least.

  2. I would love to get my hands o the 901 oscillators from Mos-Lab.

    All three of these modular synths are great, sure they have their differences but they are all great for the certain user needs!
