Sunday Synth Jam: This video captures a live ambient music performance by synthesists Ralph Baumgartl & Bernd-Michael Land.
Here’s what they have to say about the performance:
“This is an excerpt from our Live Ambient Gig combining analog Synthesizers with acoustic percussion. We start off with some ocean sounds that were recorded around the island of Sicily and then let our Synths float on top of that. Please join us on our soundscape journey.”
Technical Details:
Bernd-Michael Land Synth Rig: Minimoog, Haken Continuum, Roland SP-404 SX (for the ocean sounds), Strymon BigSky, Boss RE-201
Ralph Baumgartl Synth Rig: ARP 2600, Roland Vocoder VP-330, Roland JX-3P, Arturia MicroBrute, Roland JD-Xi, Korg Volca Beats, Strymon BigSky, Strymon Timeline, Zoom MS-70CDR.
Mixer: Soundcraft Signature 22 MTK, the audio was recorded with a Zoom H4N

Two of my favourite electronic musicians. Thank you for this.
Boring, I even heard youtube demos that was more interesting…
i can only see this as a waste of equipment and my time
Please, next time less volume on ocean samples and more on synts. Thank you.
pretty boring and somebody should mix the volumes properly. I cant see how this is worth posting, but then I never really understand the music of Bernd-Michael Land , seems kind of stuck in the 80’s and doesn’t go anywhere… but pretty nice gear collection and atmo in the room 🙂
Beautiful and engrossing performance. Too bad it seems to be cut off.
