Ahead of the season 7 start, Gil Assayas (GLASYS) shared a synth cover of the Game of Thrones theme that will melt your face like it was Viserys Targaryen’s.
Assayas’s arrangement of Ramin Djawadi’s theme is less about overt shredding than complete ‘finger-twisting’ dexterity, using his left hand for bass and percussion and his right, across two keyboards, for pads and leads.
“I was so excited about the new Game of Thrones season that I had to jam on the theme song!” notes Assayas.
Gear used: Dave Smith Instruments Prophet 6, Nord Stage 2 EX, Akai MPK Mini II, XLN Audio Addictive Drums 2, Steinberg Retrologue.
My face! Thanks a lot.
Awesome stuff.
Thanks so much for sharing, Synthtopia!
Love the title! 😛
But …but …but, I don’t WANT my face melted…
