Sunday Synth Jam: Norwegian synthesist & composer Glenn Main shared this series of live studio performance videos, a tribute to Jean-Michel Jarre.
Main has released close to a dozen albums of his own original music, which is inspired by the great synth music of the 70’s and 80’s. In these videos, though, he performs his takes on Jarre’s synth classics, which he has released as an album, Tribute to Jean Michel Jarre.
chapeau, mon ami! nicely done.
Jean-michel Jarre is dead? What happened?
No, Glenn Main created his takes on these as a tribute to one of his main musical inspirations.
Nice tones from that GAIA!
The CD has been out for almost a year already:

Thanks for the feedback!
I went by the label site, which shows this as coming out Oct 30th:(https://www.admusicshop.com/product/tribute-jean-michel-jarre/).
It’s available at other sites, though, so the label page must just be out of date. Here’s an Amazon link:

I updated the post.
Hello , and thank you for supporting me and my music 🙂
Jean-Michel Jarre was my ever first meeting with electronic music. I got my first casset tape with Equinoxe when it was released.. and i listen to it EVERY night before I went to sleep. And it made a BIG impact..
the tribute album is done to honour my “idol” and I did my best to keep the “original” feel to it, and at the same time making it “my sound” as well. I am very proud of this album, and the reviews has been so nice. So a big THA K YOU to Synthopia and all of you out there listening to synth music 🙂
Best from Glenn Main
