Air Craft has released an update to AC Sabre, its wireless MIDI instrument and motion controller for iOS, adding support for Multidimensional Polyphonic Expression and more.
AC Sabre reads your movements with the built-in gyroscope and accelerometer and translates them into music or MIDI messages.
Here’s what’s new in AC Sabre 1.2.0:
- Fixes for iOS11
- MPE (Multi-dimensional Polyphonic Expression) support
- New “Guitarist” Panel Set with POWER CHORDS
- Vertical pluck axis fixed

AC Sabre is available for US $4.99 in the App Store.
get a guitar and learn it ,this is stupid !
Oooph. I guess this is a fun thing for the kids. I’ve got their slogan:
“All the shredding without all the shedding.”
(based on an obsolete term for instrumental practicing “taking it to the wood shed”)
I don’t see how you can directly apply this to polyphonic MPE– I suppose if you were sequencing and layering it would be doable.
Total garbage, this must have about 10 lines of code, linking your accelerometer to a midi channel. Feel sorry for anyone who buys into this trash.
