Synthesist and developer Christophe Duquesne shared his performance of Henry Purcell‘s The song for a cold genius (or Cold Song).
Here’s what he has to say about the technical details:
I recorded the backtrack with the Continuum and a SV1 (and a little bit of Nord Modular G2X). The “machinery” behind if from my friend NaniSound.
It is also demoing a Continuum playing technic where you can use together the Touche feature of the Continuum (the left hand is using a small area on the left of the surface to control the volume and the formant of the sound) and a 3 fingers modulation technic on the right hand (technic I learned from the Indian Continuum player Pallav Pandya during Continuum 2016).
Very nice track, Christophe!!
Superbe comme toujours!
Great work!
