The latest mylarmelodies video takes a look at the Arturia KeyStep – a USB MIDI controller keyboard and polyphonic step sequencer that also offers CV connectivity.
The video covers basic functionality, but focuses on how the KeyStep can be used interactively to create and manipulate sequences.
Like their BeatStep Pro, the KeyStep packs a lot of power into a relatively inexpensive package.
Pricing and Availability
KeyStep is available now has a street price of about US $120. For more information about the KeyStep, see the Arturia website.
The KeyStep is indeed a very handy tool with good value for money. Still I would love to get a bigger one with more octaves.
second that.
Does it have the same crappy mini USB connector that breaks so easily on the Beatstep?
Like every piece of gear you should handle plugs with some care. Not only with this KeyStep but also you mixer, audio interface etc.
