2018 NAMM Show: Radikal Technologies‘ Jörg Schaaf shared this sneak preview of their new Delta Cep A, configured with a desktop case.
The Delta Cep A is a semimodular paraphonic synthesizer voice in Eurorack format. While it is a Eurorack module, Radikal is using the same approach Moog has used with its Mother synth, offering a desktop case. This allows the synth to be used either standalone, or as part of a larger Eurorack system.
Here’s a quick look at the new synth in action:

Pricing and Availability
The Delta Cep A synthesizer will make its official debut at the 2018 NAMM Show. See the Radikal site for more details.
It looks like the Roland / StudioElectronics combo box but without the sequencer.
No, Radikal surely has its own identity.
Sounds soooo good!
This Looks great! I’m a former owner of the Spectralis 2 and the Accelerator. Both had impeccable build quality and sound. I’m happy to see Radikal Technologies make something with a simple and intuitive interface. I miss the A-Synth on the Spectralis 2 and would love to have this.
Why did you get rid of the Accelerator?
The sound kinda reminds me of the Bass Station 2.
BS2 is such an underrated synth and somehow unmentioned most of the time. If it was build inside a metal enclosure it would get more respect. the sound is awesome. and this synth here sounds sweet too
I love my BSII. It has such a great sound. It is, without a doubt, one of the best values in the synth market. Especially, second hand.
I am going to sell my Moog Mother 32 right now!
Is it 60 HP? Smart to follow the Mother-32/DFAM mounting scheme as it could easily fit their 3-tier racks and be an addition for someone new to the hobby/hardware.
