Have an old Mackie 1402 not using so will try this, maybe putting some FX at the main output or even on individual channels. Looks like some sonic fun for sure.
This is a standard set up for noise artists(though they vary wildly by the individual) running fx pedals between your chains(separate sets of effects for different channels, and or mixing them via stereo pedals or a smaller mixer) is effectively turning your mixer into a small modular synth. just make sure you watch your levels, super hot output on feedback loops.
