Man, I have this puppy on pre-order and can’t wait to get my hot little hands on it. Roland may have finally released a new a piece of kit that I don’t really have anything to complain about. Well, except for no class compliance. I get the impression from this video that it may be possible to have multiple channel effects (bit reduction, filter, and envelope on the chord sample) per instrument, which will be bada** if true.
you can say it “badass” ! 😉
Roland has started listening! Holy crap! They have a big winner on their hands here I’m in the queue for one!
Roland probably hired some good folks who eventually told them how to do things right. Thinking to buy this thing…
First hardware I’ve considered buying in awhile. Looks like I am going to give in lol.
I think it would be fair to the original Tr8 users to release a update with the possibility to upload custom samples ?
I see keys on the background i don’t recognize…
That’s a System 8 with custum knobs..
You can see the demo guy smiling from ear to ear every time Nick is impressed because it’s probably been sooooo long since that guy had something really cool to show off.
ah..system 8 in wooden case together with a eurorack
?Unless I am mistaken there is no way to disable quantization. I suppose I am pretty much alone on this, but this is a deal breaker for me.
This looks like the best drum machine they have ever done and that is saying a lot.
Looks very playable…it is funny how it took companies this long to actually make a rig that has about 85% of the functionality of an Electribe ESX-1 – The ergonomics look much easier to use. I really like the individual channel controls on pitch and decay. I can see I’ll have to head down to the music store and mess with one when they get it.
