Reader Alastair Wilson shared this look at 5 Things You Didn’t Know Your Mother 32 Could Do.
“I made a tutorial on some advanced techniques to push a Moog Mother 32 to the limit of its abilities,” says Wilson. “I’ve never seen anyone else use these and most people would think them impossible!”
Techniques Covered:
1. ‘Paraphonic’ playing – 00:04
2. More LFO shapes – 02:26
3. Syncopated clock divisions – 04:24
4. Auto-panning – 06:07
5. Inverting signals – 07:15

6. Sell it to buy 2 neurons 🙂
I have tried creating the first paraphonic patch numerous times–with identical results until adding the 4 ratchets to the step. They do not result in a continuous voltage from the sequencer clock. I still hear the pulse even with the tempo at max.
Am using a M32 with the 2.0 firmware update.
