Moog Music shared this series of videos, demonstrating how to use their Mother-32 analog synthesizer.
The playlist covers basic patching, using the sequencer, ratcheting, LFO basics, using the filter as an oscillator, using two Mother-32’s together and more.
Hm, anybody waiting for this? The Moog M-32 has widely established itself at being accepted as a versatile and professional tool. Rather than watching these basic videos I hope Moog will put some effort in releasing a production of the Harmonicon (with teeny weeny knobs one or two sizes larger please, let’s be professional about that).
Should that be released I’m prepared to sell part of my gear for a M32,M32,Harmonicon set!
As a side note, these videos came out last November anyways.
Moog is making a set of demo/instructional videos for all their current gear. I read it somewhere in the Moogfest coverage. I bet the people that make the videos are not the same ones developing Moogs next release and this probably impact their workload at all.
I have no problems using the small knobs on my DFAM and it is a professional piece of gear.
@caligari: sure the DFAM is a professional piece of gear. Just can’t argue about personal preferences. The DFAM is not my thing, the subharmonicon is. Should it be released, and should it have the current tiny knobs, I’d still go for it and probably replace the knobs with one size larger.
Needs a screen…
Nooo, all these Moog semi-modular boutiques have a microprocessor inside, but they are made for music and sounds only. Don’t need a screen. What next? Back to the 90s with a screen, four menu push buttons and a single rotaty encoder?
