The Prodigy! This was me in NY, St. Marks Place, UFO pants, dancing to Firestarter coming from a backpack boombox! This Album should be great!
holy crap that takes me back. NYC, UFO pants, Firestarter, backpack boomboxes…
All I can say is…………..FINALLY!
F yeah The Prodigy rules.
… chasing the dragon of ever diminishing returns … the default position of self destructive nihilism that sells oh so well to teenagers … like shooting fish in a barrel … boring, uninspiring and derivatively tedious commercial musak
Really is this the best they can come up with?
“Charlie says always avoid gangland warfare and drugs and have a bit of pride in yourself and your family”
close your eyes and listen to the music without the video,
boring as hell.
the take drugs and freak out message is getting boring too.
im such a wild teenager pose is getting ridiculous, they are all way over 45 years old.
meh
And they still know how to have fun after all these years
Video looks like it was a lot of fun to make
Simple and basic and straight to the point
Testosterone fantasyland, looks appropriate for the Grand Theft Auto crowd
I like this but wish it had some awesome prodigy vocals on it!
the band in the video looks way more interesting
I saw this a week or so ago and could not get the whole way through it. It is uninspired.
I toured a bit with these and other folks and at the time, Liam was ignited! I think the drugs had some sort of effect. I am not hoping to be mean but I do believe more work could have gone into the music.
Peter Gabriel, Meat Beat Manifesto, The The, Bowie…. some artists evolve as they refine and practice their craft. It is like a muscle.
I hope Liam has more songs like he did in the early 90s up his sleeves.
I agree. The Prodigy Experinece and Jilted are both amazing albums, especially considering the methods for making music like that in those days.
I admit I like the riff in this new track. Fun block rockin beats. But yeah it felt like a sick loop more than a fleshed out song.
