Sunday Synth Jam: Paolo Di Nicolantonio (SynthMania) shared his take on creating a ‘switched-on’ take (in the style of Wendy Carlos’s classical arrangements) of Bach’s Pipe aria.
The Pipe aria is from the Anna Magdalena Bach Notebook (1725), and is arranged for Synthesizers.com 5U modular synthesizer.
The video is one of a series, embedded below:
That was very nice. Thx!
Absolutely brilliant arrangement, love this on so many levels !?
bravo!!
Who is Karl? Isn’t Synthmania Paolo?
Maybe it’s his twin brother (the one that no one talks about…)?
We updated the post.
Not sure what the deal is, but SynthMania’s Youtube channel says this:
“Hallo my name is Karl Johansson, I am a producer based in Sundsvall, making sick beats on my PC computer and other synthesisers. My favorite music styles are Early Baroque, Bossa nova and Death Metal.”

Nice! Who makes the 5U sheet music holder?
I like this 🙂
Lovely! I like the Moog and Dotcom together in the second example. Very complementary sounds.
