Autechre has has shared a link to 444 mysterious electronic music videos on Youtube.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed that there’s a link on the ‘About’ page of their store, on the period of the sentence “This store is operated by Bleep Stores on behalf of Autechre.” that points to a hidden playlist on Youtube, embedded above.
No information is provided about the videos. They are given only numeric names and they’re posted on a Youtube channel named ‘XH HX’.

Seems inspired by the infamous “ Unvarorable Semicircle” YouTube account or other such anomalies.

“In this paper, a simple method for generating a nonsingular solution of the matrix equation XH = HX where the matrix H is in unreduced lower Hessenberg form is proposed.”
Yeah I think we can safely say Autechre have become a parodic parody of the parody of themselves.
I give them a lot of credit for releasing this, especially when the predictable response to doing practically anything these days is exactly this kind of lazy, dismissive criticism that simultaneously tries to imply the critic knows more about the artists intent than the artists themselves.
