In this video, sound designer Jason Donnelly (aka DJ Puzzle) shares his thoughts on auGEN X – a single-oscillator monosynth AU module and audio test tone generator for iOS.
“It’s great as a straight up synth for melodies and basslines and it’s also a fantastic sound design tool,” notes Donnelly. “Just look at this UI. You can really see the changes your making. A lot of thought and time went into this app.”
