Outside of the box from my regular keyboard needs and interests but I have a special needs son who has synesthesia. This might be a great product/resource for him.
That was exactly the first thing I thought. I work with adults with special needs and this product is brilliant. Price is great for a midi controller. It looks like a fun way to learn colors and make music at the same time.
This looks like it would be a lot of fun to experiment with. I wonder if you could create your own custom music controller designs, using paint or a color printer?
Great product for daltonians !
Actually you are right, since daltonians might now “feel” the difference hearing different samples.
It would be nice to have a lot more colors and be able to use the ring to play pictures – photos, paintings, graphic designs.
Or hold the ring up to a screen . . . like a tv or movie.
