Very cool. Love my ER-1
I have one of these ER-1s. It has really good kick drums, hand claps, and high hats. The sequencer is a lot better than the one in many newer drum machines (read: It has pattern mode, can sequence bass lines via MIDI, and is reasonably compatible with tape sync). I use it alongside another drum machine or rompler (I reach elsewhere to get a good snare); it was all over my last album.
I used to have an ER-1, I always thought it was a really hands on unit as is… not sure what an editor brings to the table. Maybe easier to use in conjunction with Ableton?
I would really like to see this do bi-directional communication, so that I can turn the knobs on the ER-1 and have the max4live editor store the information for me for when I open the set back up later.
HI,
Does it works with MKII ?
