At SynthPlex 2019, we talked with WMD‘s Alex Anderson (aka Nasty Nachos), who gave us a quick demo of their new Crucible and Metron Eurorack modules.
- The Crucible is a unique Curved Metal and Cymbal Synthesizer. It doesn’t use samples, it uses an original modeling design.
- The Metron is a 16 channel trigger and gate sequencer that offers tons of performance possibilities.
Details on the new modules are available at the WMD site.
Crucible – sound great! must have
That modelled cymbal sounds really great. Maybe missing a freeze function? Still, at $269 it’s really tempting.
The sequencer is also pretty cool. Good job, WMD.
