At Superbooth 2019, we talked with developer Gert Jalass of Moon Modular, who gave us an update on his line of large-format MU synth modules.
Moon introduced the latest member of their cabinet line, a new Moog-style Tolex portable cabinet that swaps the traditional ‘CP’ row for a row of Eurorack modules.
See the Moon Modular site for more information.
i have been doing this since 2016 , glad to see this is a commercial product
the power supply is probably better than my TIPTOP UZEUS 4HP FLYING BUS BOARD PS
I’d love to see a traditional 22-space Walnut cabinet that I could mix in with my Dotcom cabinets. The look and usability is so good for a studio system, and it would be nice to mix in a row of Euro. I’ve thought about making a 5U cabinet with a row of 3U on top of a utility 2U row, but not sure if I am handy enough to pull that off!
Moon’s approach makes sense for portable cabinets. I’d prefer that to a CP row actually!
