Modular synth-maker Tangible Waves has released three new modules that are geared towards making beats with their AE Modular system. These modules debuted two months ago at Superbooth 2019.
The following demo video by TheTuesdayNightMachines shows these modules in action:
The new Tangible Waves modules are:
- DRUMKIT 010 – a lo-fi digital drum module with 11 banks of drum sounds, which can be triggered independently on six channels.
- KICK – a purely analog kick drum generator “which packs a serious punch”
- TOPOGRAF – a topographic pattern sequencer with three channels. This module is a clone of GRIDS – the first release of a Mutable Instruments clone to the AE Modular system.
This increases the number of available modules for Tangible Waves’ AE (which stands for “Abused Electronics”) Modular system to 34, 18 of which have been released since Superbooth 2018.
