International digital and electronic arts festival MUTEK has announced a partnership with Delicious Audio on Sonic Circuits, a free synth and guitar pedal showcase, scheduled for August 24 & 25 in Montréal.
The event will feature Moog, Korg, Pioneer DJ, Arturia, Novation, Behringer, Elektron, Spectrasonics, Eventide, EarthQuaker Devices, Keeley, and many more.
This year MUTEK celebrates its 20th edition, running August 20 to 25. As part of the festival’s many offerings, the Digi Lab program expands to a new locale with a free gear showroom called Sonic Circuits—taking place on Saturday and Sunday, August 24 and 25 at the multi-disciplinary space Never Apart.
For the first time, MUTEK partners with Delicious Audio, an event specialist with 10 years of expertise in organizing expos for musicians across the US (and now Canada). During the weekend, local manufacturers, as well as international brands, will occupy the two floors of Never Apart, and company representatives will be there to help attendees explore and answer any questions they may have. For pedal lovers, Harmony Guitars will be available to facilitate demonstrations and provide a guitar, but visitors are encouraged to bring their own instruments as well.
Sonic Circuits will offer a host of activities from artists, professionals and manufacturers, with indoor and outdoor workshops, talks, live performances on the patio, product presentations and more.
The venue, Never Apart, is located in the heart of the Mile-Ex neighborhood and is dedicated to igniting positive change through culture with regular gatherings, music, art exhibitions, discussions, and workshops. The venue also features a pool, which will be open during the ev ent – so bring your swimsuit.
