Ahead of the 2020 NAMM Show, being held Jan 16-19, 2020 in Anaheim, CA, Korg has introduced two new DIY music project kits.
The Nu:Tekt HA-S Nutube Headphone Amplifier Kit is a Nutube-equipped DIY Headphone amp kit. No soldering is required, so even if you are new to the world of DIY, you will be able to assemble the tube-driven HA-S headphone amp.
Details are available at the Korg site.
Korg has also introduced the OD-S Overdrive kit.
The OD-S is equipped with a Nutube fully analog triode vacuum tube, for a ‘warm sound and rich harmonic response’. See the Korg site for more info.
The two DIY projects join the Nu:Tekt NTS-1 synth kit. The NTS-1 is based on the synth and multi-effects engine featured in Korg’s Prologue and Minilogue XD keyboards, and offers an entry-level option for its multi-engine platform.
Questions:
Will the HA-S drive 200+ Ohm headphones?
Why no DC Jack?
(easily modifiable I guess) I’m not a fan of batteries LOL
Where to buy it?
