ILIO and Reverb Machine have introduced a new patch collection series for Omnisphere 2 that pays homage to classic synth sounds.
The first collection released in The Fame Series is Classic Sounds.
Here’s what they have to say about it:
This collection focuses on the golden age of synth tones – from the 70s into the early 90s and is a must have for producers and musicians seeking to capture the illustrious quintessence of the time.
Borrowing from ABBA, Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Gary Numan, Tears for Fears, Jean-Michel Jarre, Joy Division and more, this collection celebrates the synth pioneers of the last century.

Pricing and Availability
Classic Sounds is available now for $35 USD.
would it be technically possible for them to bring omnisphere to the ipad? or too beefy?
no way
its possible sound wise but it would be way too big to be a 1-1 port. Would have to be a lite version with less presets.
How much presets?
Only 66 – they are OK- like all presets , probably only half a dozen you will use….
Isn’t Omnisphere already built by sampling tons of classic synths as one of main sources?
Not impressed by the demo tracks.
