Sinevibes has expanded their line of plugins for the Korg Multi-Engine synthesizers (Prologue, Minilogue XD and NTS-1) with Ring, a ring modulator effect.
Ring features a sine oscillator which, when multiplied by the input signal, produces an output containing all-new frequency partials, making the sound metallic, bell-like.
Additionally, there is an envelope follower which can modulate the oscillator frequency with the input signal’s amplitude. This algorithm is also built with 2x oversampling to reduce aliasing, for a cleaner high-frequency response.
Pricing and Availability
Sinevibes Ring is available now for $19 USD.
More accurately, this is an update to 1.01 for an existing Sinevibes logue plugin. A fun and nutty effect!
For something new, check out Sinevibes Albedo, a grain cloud reverb effect for logue!
FWIW, the announcement from Sinevibes:
“We are happy to let you know that we have recently published four new videos that demonstrate our very latest effect plugins for KORG prologue, minilogue xd and NTS-1 synthesizers. They are short and fun to watch, so please check them out ?”
So, not even updates. Just new videos. Which are very cool! I have all four of these effects (and more!), and they are professionally done, sound great, and lack any artifacts.
