Nonlinear Labs let us know that they’ve updated their C15 with the most significant software update since its release.
They say that they’ve given their operating system, the synth engine and the user interface ‘a complete rewrite’, with a new Linux-based architecture. The update includes layer, split and mono modes, increased polyphony, and more macro controls and modulation targets. And Nonlinear Labs says that the updated architecture will make future developments easier.
All new instruments will be shipped with the new system. The updates will be free for all C15 users. Nonlinear Labs says that they will be contacting all users in the coming weeks to perform the update with them.
Details on the update are available in the C15 Software Update 2020 document (pdf).
How to make a fantastic piece of gear even better! 🙂
This instrument is like no other ! it’s the work of a luthier more than a piece of technology.
