Developer Momo Müller has introduced an third-party patch editor for the Arturia MicroFreak synthesizer.
With the MicroFreak Editor and Sound Generator, you have direct access to parameters and you can generate new sound with 4 random methods.
With the PlugIn VST Version, you can record controller movements and integrate the MicroFreak Synth into your DAW project.

Excellent idea. Its one of the best budget synths to appear in a while. You see many things going for high prices that aren’t half as inspiring. They’re quite capable, but this has a superior weirdness factor. I’d like to see a version in a tougher case with more standard/robust connectors, but I can’t see asking for much more. The numerous oscillator models alone are impressive. Its one of those toys you love because it often emits that one cosmic event that glues things together.
