Thereminist Dorit Chrysler shared her haunting polyphonic theremin take 0n I Don’t Want To Set The World On Fire.
The song was written by Bennie Benjamin, Eddie Durham, Sol Marcus and Eddie Seiler and was a hit for The Ink Spots in the 1940s.
While the song may be about sparking romance, the video captures Chrysler sparking a passion for learning the theremin.
Guitar: Pierre de Gaillande

Wow. My son and I are in this video- we participated in that theremin workshop, which was in Brooklyn in 2014. It was a lot of fun, but I’ll take an analog theremin over the theremini any day- it was really difficult to calibrate the throw.
Way cool. What’s better than a creative, attractive thereminist?
This is really good
I can’t help it, for me that song is indelibly linked to a certain video game. Fortunately, music is not always the same.
This was a great use of a Theremin.
Fallout 4 – that soundtrack turned me onto a bunch of great old music.
