Moog Music recently introduced the Moogerfooger Effects Plug-ins – a software reincarnation of Bob Moog’s classic hardware effects.
Something that’s not immediately obvious about these effects is that they recreate the deep CV interconnectivity capabilities of the original hardware pedals. This means that you can use multiple instances of Moogerfooger effects plugin to modulate each other.
This video demonstrates how you can connect Moogerfooger Effects Plug-ins together via the CV panel, and how you can attenuate and invert the signals coming from one Moogerfooger effect to another. The video also covers how to switch an LFO between unipolar and bipolar, and how you can route modulation signals across multiple tracks.
Pricing and Availability:
The Moogerfooger Effects Plug-ins are available now with an introductory price of $149 USD (regularly $249 USD).
Seem’s like these should’ve been plug-in(s) before now; they haven’t made’m for awhile, aside from the CV capabilities-my sonic skepticism still will abound folks.
…as it does for the b-ear-ringer boogersnot boxes. folks
Looks like these would have fit perfectly as Rack Extensions in Reason.
They are what they are: nice chunks of a Moog modular. It makes total sense that they can be cross-connected in multiples as software. I’m sure there are a few people who already took the leap because of the pedigree.
Moog is wise to offer software alternatives. I’d love to see a Moog One recreated as software. Its a real beauty, but not $7K-$9K worth. I can layer 3 Memorymodes in Logic and get a lot of the same beef pretty easily.
LOL. No.
Arturia could do one for their V collection or, Cherry Audio could do one.
it was kinda obvious since it mentioned on the feature list but i understand moog knows their demographic ๐
with bitwig its kinda meaningless, you can do all that and much more with any plugin
Running my Behringer Neutron through these sounds lovely.
10 years ago this would have been amazing, now adding lfos and envelope followers to ish is nothing special anymore.
if you use multiple instances – look up the unique identifier nummer – rofl, what the fuck are they thinking.
