Today (February 9), the Alan R. Pearlman Foundation is hosting the online premiere of an exclusive interview between Herbie Hancock and Foundation Founder Dina Pearlman-Ifil.

The premiere / YouTube watch party event, held today in honor of Black History Month, was originally recorded in October 2022, after the Alan R Pearlman’s Fall Synthposium.

In October of 2022, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the ARP Odyssey, Herbie Hancock spent time with d’ARP talking about the early days of his career, including his work with ARP synthesizers, the Odyssey, Patrick Gleason, meeting Alan R Pearlman and more.

The watch party will take place on YouTube this Thursday, February 9, 5 pm – 6:15 pm Eastern (US) time. Those who attend the ‘watch party’ can enter a raffle for a download of GForce Software’s Oddity 3 if the make a donation DURING the watch party.
