Dedalus Delay In-Depth Review

Reader Mark Barkan, aka Higher HZ, shared this review of Aqusmatiq Audio Dedalus Delay, a real-time audio “delay mangler.”

Dedalus uses a network of delay lines, granulated and modulated, to produce a labyrinth of echoes, which are further processed by filters, dynamic processors, and saturation modules. It can create a wide variety of effects, from reverb-like ambiences to evolving resonations to pure noise.

Barkan’s video takes an in-depth look at Dedalus, with lots of audio demos, and shares his take on the effect’s pros and cons.

Details on Dedalus Delay are available at the Aqusmatiq site.
