Novation has introduced FLkey 49 & FLkey 61, two new additions to its FLkey line of keyboard MIDI controllers for FL Studio users.
Building on the success of their FLkey Mini and FLkey 37, the new models offer a larger key count and additional features.
Developed in collaboration with Image-Line, creators of FL Studio, the FLkey 49 and FLkey 61 allow for a hands-on music production experience, with controls for FL Studio’s Sequencer, Channel Rack, and Mixer. The controllers include Scale and Chord modes for creative play, along with Sequencer Mode for programming beats fast. The controllers also include essential buttons for easy access to transport, score log, undo, redo, quantize, and metronome triggering.
Presets can be browsed in Image-Line plugins directly from the controllers. Additionally, the controllers come bundled with a range of software from AAS, Spitfire Audio, XLN Audio, and Klevgrand, as well as a 6-month trial of FL Studio Producer Edition.

- Seamless Integration with FL Studio.
- Mixer and Channel Rack control: Adjust volume and pan with eight knobs, nine faders, and nine fader buttons.
- Step sequencer: Take control of FL Studio’s step sequencer and program drums easily.
- Pattern Pad mode: Select and edit patterns directly from the pads.

Wow that’s quite the gap since the original announcement of this in 25 key version
Cool though, great product for the FL power users and beginners alike
I had to find out so I just used this site as a reference for the launch date. The post for the FL Keys 25 on Synthtopia was April 5th. So a 2 months gap is quite a gap? I was actually looking to see if they had any larger versions yet then 2 days later, poof, here they are. I guess time is moving really slow for some or expectations are really high when it comes to manufacturing products. I’m sure they had em all ready to go and was testing the market since its just the MK3 with a paint job and script.
The FL Keys 37 (there is no 25) was posted here on April 5th 2022.
The current year is 2023.
Oops there is indeed a 25 key version, but it’s just called “FL Key Mini”.
Thanks for the correction kind gentleman, that is a big gap, hahahahaha. What the hell were they doing!
Novation got boring. What happened to them?
Where are the new Launch controllers people want, the current ones are more than a decade old!
And the same low quality knobs they’ve been using in all their midi controllers. I miss the old ones like Launchcontrol Mini and XL. After testing their last 25 keys version and comparing to Akai, it’s not even close. Plasticky and noisy, feels very flimsy. Adios, Novation.
