Sinevibes Intros 4 New Effect Plugins For KORG Prologue, Minilogue XD & NTS-1 Synths

The new effects are available for the Korg prologue, minilogue xd, and NTS-1.

Sinevibes has introduced four new effects for Korg multi-engine synths:

  • Hollow vast space reverb;
  • Isomer ensemble delay;
  • Luminance shimmer reverb; and
  • Vibrant deep phaser.

Each of the effects are available for the Korg prologue, minilogue xd, and NTS-1.

Korg’s Multi-Engine is an underappreciated feature of the prologue, minilogue xd, and NTS-1, because it allows you to add features to your synth over time. The Multi Engine is an open platform that lets you load custom digital oscillators and effects, adding new synthesis options and expanding your keyboard’s capabilities.

Here’s a preview of what each effect offers:

Sinevibes Hollow Vast Space Reverb

Hollow is a vast space reverb plugin for KORG prologue, minilogue xd and NTS-1. At its core is a feedback delay network with as many as 64 connections, which can produce a “truly lush, almost three-dimensional reverb sound”.

With all settings maxed out, Hollow is capable of tail times that exceed 120 seconds, while still having a smooth and naturally damped exponential decay.

Hollow also offers unison-style modulation via three phase-shifted sine oscillators, to add depth and richness.

Sinevibes Isomer Ensemble Delay

Isomer is an ensemble delay plugin for KORG prologue, minilogue xd and NTS-1.

It has two main stereo delays, offering tempo-synchronized time adjustment and near-infinite feedback. Their outputs are sent into four additional delays (two per channel) with their own individual feedback lines and with their times being modulated by four separate LFO signals.

Thanks to the mutual phase offsets between these LFOs, and subtle feedback, the delay tail gets a smooth and highly musical detuning effect, similar to chorus ensemble. Due to the opposing modulation between the left and right channels, Isomer also adds an extra dimension within the stereo field.

Sinevibes Luminance Shimmer Reverb

Luminance is a shimmer reverb plugin for KORG prologue, minilogue xd and NTS-1.

It’s described as “a novel take on this highly coveted effect: an ethereal reverb whose tail gradually pitch-shifts itself upwards or downwards.”

The plugin is based on a feedback delay network which incorporates a granular pitch shifter and chorus-style time modulation.

Thanks to the very unique and meticulously executed tuning of its individual components, Luminance smoothly follows the original musical content and creates a beautiful background sound layer – reminiscent of a dreamy symphony of strings or pipe organs.

Sinevibes Vibrant Deep Phaser

Vibrant is a deep phaser plugin for KORG prologue, minilogue xd and NTS-1.

It’s based on a classic analog-inspired design which connects six two-pole all-pass filters in series and has a global feedback loop. This setup produces three deep notches in the incoming signal’s spectrum, with strong yet smooth resonant peaks around them – possessing a distinct vocal-like character at higher feedback values.

The plugin’s built-in triangle LFO sweeps the center frequency within the musical range of 800 to 3200 Hz, exactly two octaves.

Pricing and Availability:

Each of the new Korg Multi-Engine plugins are available now for $19 USD each. Bundles are also available.

    1. Agreed.

      Hollow gives me immediate Blade Runner vibes, which makes it a must buy, and Luminance sounds like the shimmer reverb that Korg should have done instead of the weird one that they provided out of the box.

      Sinevibes is single-handedly demonstrating how great the multi-engine platform is. It’s a crime that Korg has neglected the multi-engine synths, and not really supported Sinevibes and other developers.

      The Prologue, minologue XD and NTS-1 are all on their ways to being classic pieces of gear, in spite of Korg’s indifference.

      1. agreed. I love playing mine with a Yorick LFE; it’s the bomb. the digital engine, even at 32k, has so much utility if you’re willing to roll up your sleeves.

        I have mostly sinevibes effects loaded on my packed prologue, and a few of the oscillators – since I work on my own.
