In his latest video, synthesis Alex Ball shares his thoughts on the Roland SH-7, a rare analog synthesizer from 1978.
Of all Roland SH synths, Ball says that the SH-7 “always stood out as my favorite.”

I purchased one of these from the brand new Guitar Center in Chicago when they came out. I wasn’t impressed. MSRP was $1,800 but I bought it for $800. I sold it for $800 and was happy. I was much happier with my Yamaha CP-70B. That was awesome.
