In this video, Julien “Stazma” Guillot demonstrates recreating a vintage monosynth, the Roland SH-5, using Eurorack modules and the Cre8audio NiftyKEYZ keyboard rack.
Guillot calls the project ‘a bit of fun’, but shows how you can use the NiftyKEYZ to recreate classic analog synth designs – or to create whatever custom design you can imagine.

Beside how it sounds the looks are great…very lick and likeable…still wondering why we still need cables in 2023. Maybe because we’re living in a Throw-away society.
What are you actually talking about?
Those cables are for, among other things, control voltages. You know voltages, electricity.
Not sure I’d be entirely comfortable with wireless electricity!
Introducing LightningCV wireless cable technology. Forget those pesky wires, just position a few easy-to-lift 6 foot tesla coils around the perimeter of your studio and remember to wear your rubber grounding suit at all times!
Sadly, thousands of cats will be zapped before LightningCV is withdrawn from the market.
Wireless ‘cables’ would imply digital conversion of signals, and we’ll have the analogue VS digital debate all over again
And I’ve personally never thrown a patch cable away, so this is a bit exagerated.
Who the hell throw away patch cables? Those damn things are expensive! You clearly aren’t a modular person.
i would love to fill one with multiple Rings, Beads and Plaits.
Introducing the modular cat zapper. It not only functions as a ring mod, it gets rid of pesky cats & the meow moment can modulate almost anything.
