soonth shared this short preview of blocks for Mac & Windows, a free application that offers “a simple approach to synthesis using a modular grid system.”
Here’s how it works:
- Blocks: Sound moves downwards. You can place blocks, shuffle them around, or extend effects across columns with ease.
- Modulators: To the right side, you’ll find modulators like LFOs and envelopes.
- Tabs: Decide which columns are audible when a note plays.
It’s currently available as an alpha release.
More than interested in this! I have a lot of fun with VCV rack, Audulus, Poly Grid, Oscillot and this will be another one for the “fun time happy hours”. Bring it. Seems better suited for IOS and touch but ill take what I can get.
Jasuto is still the best modular synth.
I need to check out Jasuto. Never heard of it.
Jasuto is awesome sauce.
