Designer Oli Freke (Synth Evolution) has introduced a ‘super-nerdy’ poster, featuring the heart of the synthesize, the oscillator.
The new poster celebrates 29 of the best oscillators, from a selection of vintage synths – analogue and digital. They are hand illustrated in the Synth Evolution style.
“You might wonder just how many ways there really are to give a synth-player the option between square, sawtooth and sine waves,” explains Freke. “The answer seems to be – ‘as many ways as there are synths’, and they all look cool!”
The poster is a high quality digital print on 200gsm pH-neutral paper.
Pricing and Availability:
The Oscillator Poster is available now for £30.00.
Really nice! But Oberheim OB-X8, ”vintage”…? (2022) ?
I got 16 right. Oh well, it’s more than half of them 🙂
First thought, no Buchla
Second though, is it evolution if it’s not chronological or any obvious order
and the complex oscillator is from what? A Serge? Or you didn’t see it.
Drawing knobs freehand is a pain in the oscillator!
