The latest Sonic State video features a presentation by George Hearn from UDO Audio on the new Super Gemini polyphonic synthesizer.
The Super Gemini is a 20-voice polyphonic, bi-timbral flagship keyboard synthesizer that’s designed for immediate control and expressive performance. The front panel gives you immediate comprehensive control over both timbral layers, the keyboard features polyphonic aftertouch and a ribbon control offers continuous pitch control.
Pricing and Availability;
The UDO Audio Super Gemini is available now, priced at £3799.
I stopped watching after two minutes, since the UDO guys kept on playing through the interviewer. That is not only rude, but also makes this video totally impossible to watch.
I once watched a movie and there was music while people talked, so I stopped watching after two minutes, movies are totally impossible to watch.
Classic elderly grumpiness 🙂
I had the opposite reaction – I wanted to hear more of the Gemini, because it sounds so good.
You missed a good discussion, though!
This is a Novation Summit but without OLED screen and infinitely more expensive ??
And the good news is that Novation Summit has dropped its price a lot?
It’s like a Novation Summit in that they both have keyboards. Otherwise, they have very different architectures, technology and sound.
The Super Gemini is a lot closer to the architecture and technology of the CS-80 than the Summit.
Very cool synth!
@Sjakelien, You’re absolutely right! I couldn’t stand it as well. It’s like you’re having a conversation with someone who’s constantly looking at their smartphone.
And get those damn kids to stop skateboarding on the sidewalk
and pull up their pants
At least the synth sounds good.
