A Complete Guide To The Behringer Edge Synthesizer

The lastest XNB video offers a complete overview of the Behringer Edge, a knockoff of the Moog DFAM drum synthesizer.

Like Behringer’s Crave synth, the Edge copies a popular Moog Eurorack format synth as an inexpensive desktop module. Like its inspiration, the Edge features dual VCO’s with pulse and triangle waves, oscillator sync and FM, to let you create a variety of percussive sounds. It also copies the DFAM’s dual-row 8-step sequencer, so you can control two aspects of the drum synth’s voice on each step.

As always, XNB’s video is not intended to be a review, but a deep guide into the synth and its capabilities.
