British synthesist Dave Bessell – who, with Flood, Ed Buller & Mel Wesson make up the Berlin style synth supergroup Node – has shared Live At Awakenings, a recording capturing a recent live performance.
Here’s what he has to say about it:
“Usually I’m told my electronic music has a dark edge to it. I hear it as more atmospheric and mythical. Perhaps you will hear it differently?
On the night of the performance, there was a large pale rainbow halo around a full moon. This rather rare phenomenon is caused by ice crystals in the air and inspired the title of the last track.
This is hand-made music – by humans, for humans. To everyone who attended the sell out gig – thanks for the support!”
